Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter

Finally, it's here. I've seen reviews on Revlon Colorburst Lip Butters and am dying to own some.

I find the covers sexy, reminding me of lace-up corsets. The covers match the lip colors so it's easy to distinguish.

The top of the lipsticks are see through which I find slightly cheap looking even though it might help me distinguish the colors when I store them upright.

L-R: Macaroon,  Brown Sugar

They have cute names and do give nice colors. Some are more sheer while others can be more pigmented. The only thing I hate is how difficult it is to open the cap. The base is too narrow for my thumb to slide the cap up. So what I do is open it upside down. Also, there are limited colors here. I hope they would eventually have all colors here.

Benefit Haul

My package arrived a few weeks ago.

I want to tell you all about it.

What's in my package?
3 concealers in 02 - Medium
3 cream eyeshadows in skinny jeans, birthday suit and tattle tale
2 of "take a picture...it lasts longer..." body balm

I love their boi-ing concealer, I have been using it for years. It is more costly to get here in Singapore. $40 each! I'd rather do a spree with friends and get them online since there is free international shipping for order above USD125.

I've been meaning to try out their cream eyeshadows. I got r.s.v.p in a mini jar a long time ago. I thought it was quite nice. Slightly drying and clumpy now I realise after playing around with my new colors. The trick is not to pile it on and it will be fine. Cream eyeshadows work great for oily skin. It grasps the color better.

My friend Anna and I have been wanting the body balm for the longest time. Finally I got us one each! It does not glisten like burt's bees' body lotion with royal jelly, but it gives just enough sheen. We are so gonna bring our tins to our little trip this April!

Octa Hotel

My friend, Fai and I went to grab a bite last night. A place that sells yummy food with great ambience, has a little merchandise corner that sells pretty cups and saucers, anything Eiffel Tower, lovely jewellery all at once.

Anyways, we had the best sandwiches ever! Well, at least for me. I've been here three times already. Not counting those times I went just to purchase their merchandise.

Octa Hotel. A small cafe for light meals and afternoon tea. Ladies will appreciate the pleasing interior filled with lovely furniture and dainty teapots.

We sat by the window, people watching while chomping on our sandwiches.

I had the salmon sandwich. Not sure what it's called on the menu.

Generously filled with salmon, avocados, spiced cheese and greens. Chips at the side.

Fai had the omelette sandwich. Again, I have no idea what it's called on the menu. Sorry!

Her sandwich was overloaded with fluffy eggs, cheese, tomatoes and greens. Also, served with chips.

Both sandwiches were served separately on these cute wooden baskets/trays thing lined with doilies.

The sandwiches were really filling for both of us so we might need to share the next time we pop by. I tried the hot chocolate on my first visit and it was quite yummy. The only downfall is the price. I paid S$33 for the sandwiches!! I guess it's ok to have it once in a while.

Yummy but expensive. Share a sandwich if you are curious to try. Or just drop by and see their little shopping corner. It's a good gift store.
